DYNALITE MATTER BRIDGE

As a Signify Dynalite Platinum partner, Gemini Lighting Solutions are leading experts in advanced lighting control. We chose to partner with Dynalite because their cutting-edge technology offers seamless integration, energy efficiency, and enhanced user experience.
Matter is an open protocol, royalty free, Smart Home and building connectivity standard that runs on IP, so Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Thread are all communication protocols that matter uses.
The Matter platform allows for the encrypted integration of all ecosystems – Apple, Amazon,Samsung and Google, as well as IoT devices and appliances.

Remote connectivity

Having Dynalite controls integrated into the Matter network, allows you to use the remote connectivity feature via a Matter-enabled app, so you can control Dynalite devices away from your building.
– Dynalite links to Matter via Ethernet
– You will need a PDDEG-S on your Dynalite network to enable the connection to ethernet and to act as the bridge to the Matter network
– Also requires a PDTS as your user interface and for the QR code for Matter onboarding

Your Matter network will have an app associated with it, within which you can scan QR codes to add new Matter devices. In this way you can scan the QR code on your Dynalite Touchscreen to integrate the Matter to your Dynalite network and the Dynalite end points can now be controlled by your matter devices. All communications are end-to-end encrypted. Commands between the Matter app and the Dynalite endpoints are secure and only authorised users within your network can control Dynalite devices

System features

– The border router (Apple HomePod Mini, Samsung SmartThings Hub, etc) translates these commands so all devices can communicate
– The geofencing feature allows you to set your luminaires to turn on automatically upon arrival using your phone’s location
